How to Retrieve and Enter Your Two-Factor Authentication Code

1. Open the app or authenticator method that receives your 2FA code

  • Launch the app that provides your two-factor authentication code.

  • Make sure the phone number and email on file are the ones registered with Unify.

  • You can also use Unify's built-in Authenticator app to generate the code.

2. Find the code in the Unify browser extension

  • Your codes will appear in the extension you previously pinned in the upper-right corner of your browser.

  • This works the same in both Chrome and Edge.

  • Click the U extension icon to open it.

3. Open the Login Codes tab and copy the code

  • In the extension window, click the Login Codes tab at the bottom.

  • Find the current code and click it to copy it.

  • Paste the code into the login field using:

    • Right-click > Paste, or

    • Ctrl + V on your keyboard.

4. Continue to complete login

  • After pasting the code, click Continue.

  • You should now be logged in successfully.

  • The process is complete.
