How to Archive and Unarchive an App

1. Open the App Options Menu

  • Navigate to the app you want to archive.

  • Locate the three dots in the upper-right corner of the app.

  • Click the three dots to open the app options menu.

2. Archive the App

  • In the dropdown menu, select Archive App.

  • Confirm the action if prompted.

  • The app will be moved to the archived state.

3. View Archived Apps

  • Go to Filters.

  • Toggle on Show Archived to display archived apps.

  • Use this view to verify that the app was successfully archived.

4. Unarchive the App

  • Find the archived app you want to restore.

  • Click the three dots on that app.

  • Select Un-archive App from the menu.

5. Confirm the App Is Restored

  • Return to the homepage.

  • Confirm the app has reappeared in its original position.

  • If needed, repeat the process for additional apps.

Cautionary Notes

  • Archiving removes the app from the active homepage view, but does not delete it.

  • Be sure you are selecting the correct app before clicking Archive App or Un-archive App.

  • If you do not see archived apps, confirm that Show Archived is toggled on in Filters.

Tips for Efficiency

  • Double-check the app name before taking action to avoid archiving the wrong item.

  • Regularly review apps to identify any that are no longer needed.

  • Communicate with team members before archiving an app to avoid any disruptions.

  • Keep the system organized by archiving apps that are no longer in use.
