Connect Email to Unify for 2FA

1. Open company settings and go to Login Codes 0:17

  • In Unify, click your avatar in the top-right corner.

  • Select Settings for your company.

  • In the left sidebar, open Login Codes.

  • If you have multiple locations in Unify, keep in mind that location-specific setup is optional and only relevant if you want codes tied to a location.

2. Add or connect the email source you want Unify to monitor 0:32

  • Look for the email account in the list of existing sources.

  • If the email is already listed but not connected, click Connect.

  • If the email is not listed at all, click New Source.

  • Enter the email address you want to connect.

  • Optionally assign a location so incoming codes are labeled by location in the extension.

  • Click Save and Connect Now.

3. Copy the forwarding address shown by Unify 1:33

4. Configure forwarding in your email provider 1:45

  • Open the forwarding guide that matches your email provider.

  • Set up forwarding so emails sent to your outside account are delivered to the Unify forwarding address.

  • Complete any provider-specific verification steps required by Google, Outlook, or Exchange.

  • Return to Unify once forwarding is configured.

5. Finish setup in Unify 2:04

  • Click Next in Unify after you finish configuring forwarding.

  • If you are using a Google account and a verification code step appears, you can click Skip if it is not needed.

  • Then click Done to complete the setup.

6. Confirm the source is forwarding correctly 2:23

  • Go back to the Login Codes list and find the email source you added.

  • Its status should now show Forwarding.

  • This indicates Unify is ready to receive emails.
